Senior Ruby Professional at QMR Labs
We are a young and energetic mumbai based startup, working on high-end analytics and optimization products in various domains.
We are looking for a mid-senior level ruby professional (preferably who has some java experience as well), with a just-do-it attitude and strong analytical skills.
Should have technical experience / knowledge about:
1 - Writing optimized codes, right from the front-end to the back-end. Keen on optimizing product performance and scalability right from day 1. Should be very very agile.
2 - Knowledge about different ruby frameworks and important libraries is a plus. Ability to quickly interface C/C++ code with ruby, is highly desirable.
3 - Knowledge about JRuby is a definite plus point
4 - Active on sites like stackoverflow.com, highscalability.com, etc
5 - If you have heard about things like Hadoop, R-project, GLS, you are already have a definite plus.
Other job details:
1 - Willing to relocate to mumbai
2 - Must be enterprising, energetic, adaptive and willing to take own initiatives to learn
3 - The role will shape up, in one year, into a Product Developer role, i.e. end-to-end Product Development profile, which will involve leading a team of a few developers
4 - He will report into Head – Product Development & Delivery
Preference for IIT, NIT, ISM and IIIT grads.
